With the onset of Covid-19, the dance studio’s business was down 50% almost overnight, with new memberships at a standstill.
Insight
When you’re not moving, you’re standing still. And that’s no fun for an individual or a business. We had to communicate that for the studio and its array of world dances, while shifting its community following and classes to online instruction.
Solution
Highlight the positive physical and mental effects of dancing through our ‘Never Miss a Chance to Dance’ campaign. And convey a simple and fun way to fight anxiety and depression.
When a little thing like COVID-19 had Caitlin’s business down 50%, Bella Diva Dance Studio did a pirouette to online classes and kept right on dancing. The Art Of Good stepped in to help with that transition. With the knowledge that dance and motion can help increase happiness, while relieving the stresses of being cooped-up all day, we conceived a campaign that oozed positivity “Never Miss a Chance to Dance”. We created branded ‘Dance Zones’ in public spaces to encourage passersby to shake a bit. And in doing so, shake off negative thoughts. We also designed ‘dance cards’ that gave more information about the studio’s world dances, and encouraged potential customers to sign-up for classes. In addition to the campaign, we also helped Caitlin with her branding, social presence, video assets and the studio’s website.
