Challenge

The concept of emotional intelligence is a difficult one to convey, hence is often not adopted in school curriculums.

Insight

There was a need to develop a simple and concise ‘elevator pitch’ that drives awareness and mobilizes parents, encouraging them to expand social intelligence learning in their children’s schools.

Solution

‘Equip Our Kids’ – a campaign that worked consistently across all channels, and spoke to the barriers of expanding curriculums.

Happy and emotionally well-prepared kids turn into happy, successful adults. Equip Our Kids is a non-profit that advocates for teaching emotional intelligence in schools. Since it’s a pretty complex concept to grasp – for kids, parents, and even advertising folks – the first task The Art Of Good took-on was to simplify the message. In doing so, we renamed and rebranded the effort from The Big EQ to Equip Our Kids to better serve the organization’s mission. We then completely reworked the look and tone of the communications from the website through to social posts. We’re also currently working on a social game and a PSA potentially starring an Emmy-winning musician, director and educator.
