Challenge

In a time of deep turmoil and distancing ourselves from one another, where might we be able to find that connection to humanity and solace?

Insight

A return to art, nature and humanity with an emphasis on quality may be just what we need to help quell the feelings of disorder and isolation.

Solution

We wanted to focus on everything that 2020 seemed not to be; hand-crafted, real, and warm. And convey the Duotone ethos and products through human storytelling.

Duotone’s story is not one doom and gloom. Rather just the opposite. They create and sell products with an appreciation of graphic patterns and vintage fabrics. Inspired by native cultures and the serenity of the desert they call home. The Art Of Good worked with founders, Teri and Rick, to better define their narrative and the Duotone brand: Two tones of colors. Two perspectives. Coming together. To do so, we created a library of video content and still images that focus on the real story of their partnership – both in business and as a couple. And how this all manifests itself through the many items that they create using locally-sourced materials and the inspiration of their environment. Items such as home textiles, art prints, and since it is a pandemic, masks.
